The Mt Evelyn Township Group and its Street Party subcomittee say thank you! For performing at the Street Party in the heat of the day; driving a shuttle bus for hours on end; holding a stall as a fundraiser or as a small business; visiting Mt Evelyn from afar; ensuring locals could get a park at the IGA supermarket; for facepainting more faces than you can count; dancing your feet off on asphalt; or putting up with not being able to find a car park when trying to buy your Sunday morning newspaper. You are ALL AMAZING.

Street Parade

There’s still time to enter your group in the Street Parade, which will launch the day at 10am, on Sunday, October 29. ¬†Open to any local business or NFP organisation, 50s enthusiasts, dancers, sporting groups, schools, everyone is welcome. We’ll make some noise and celebrate the beginning of our party on the street!

Thanks to the 1st Mt Evelyn Scout Group and Mt Evelyn RSL for providing the workshop venues and to the amazing Johnny Phung for making the the journey from Albury to Mt Evelyn especially! Also a very special thanks to our local Rock’n’Roll dance celebratory Linda Cooke for pulling in the favours and arranging the workshops! She and her husband Brian are even offering FREE follow up classes for those that enrol in Johnny’s workshops. This is such an amazing deal!

$40 pays for both workshops with Johnny Phung AND free follow-up classes with Linda and Brian Cooke.

FREE Follow up classes: 8th and 15th October at Mt Evelyn RSL
